Peter Schwartz – Drums
From Southeast Massachusetts, Peter grew up on heavy doses of Jazz and Rock no doubt due to growing up the son of Steve Schwartz, a famous jazz disc jockey for WGBH recently honored at Havard University. Over the years he used those influences to develop a style of his own, combining rock-steady timing and dynamics. With Boston’s “Mindflow” he toured the U.S. extensively in support of three CDs the band recorded which were heard on major market and college radio stations across the country. After a short tour with Bobby Lee Rodgers of the Code Talkers he joined up with Southbound and became an active player with many of the area’s best known blues acts, including Basic Black which featured members of Boston Baked Blues, Mission of Blues, and Guitar Center Blues Guitar contest runner up Gregg Miller. Since moving to South Florida in 2010 Peter has continued to record and perform, putting his great sense of groove and improvisational skills to good use. Peter endorses Silverfox Drumsticks.
Tom Porter – Bass
Tom’s playing is based on the simple principle that a bass player’s job is to play both tastefully and melodically while working with the drummer to lock down the groove. Born and raised in Long Island, NY, Tom has enjoyed a diverse musical career that included Manhattan’s vibrant downtown punk scene, Long Island’s Stray Cats inspired Rock-a-Billy scene, as well as powerhouse Texas-Blues. Tom has performed both the Crossroads Music Festival and BluesStock Fest in Memphis, TN, as well as SWSW in Austin and NXNE in Toronto. As a songwriter, he has had more than a dozen songs used in movie soundtracks. He also bears a remarkable resemblance to Alec Baldwin, but better looking.
Lou Piccinetti – Guitar
Lou picked up a guitar at age 12 in Flushing NY, began playing professionally by age 18, and has never stopped. He has performed with many of South Florida’s most well known and respected bands including Vital Signs, Beggars Opera, Picture This and Blonde Enuff. Lou is one of South Florida’s most respected guitarists; listening to his playing, you can hear not only his virtuosity but the varied musical influences that helped to create his unique approach and exciting sound. He also has an unbelievable collection of vinyl!
